Introduction
Welcome Users! At Upstairs, we strive to make payment via fiat easy for everyone and uphold simplified deposits and NFT trading as one of our core design tenets. As such, we integrated multiple options for our users to buy and trade using 1) Crypto via Direct Deposit , 2) Fiat (Credit Card) and 3) Wallet Connection.
How to Deposit on Upstairs
Before you can trade NFTs on Upstairs, you will need to deposit fiat or crypto funds. Upstairs accepts fiat (USD) from Credit Cards and crypto deposits (USDT) from external wallets. Follow the steps below to make sure your funds arrive safe and sound.
[Note] To provide a gas-free minting experience where users do not have to pay for additional gas fees incurred on the blockchain, our platform will convert USDT to Stairs-USDT which is the currency accepted for NFT purchases on Upstairs. USDT amount will be converted on the backend at a 1:1 rate. i.e., 1 USDT = 1 Stairs-USDT.
How to deposit with Crypto via Direct Deposit on Upstairs
1. Log in to your Upstairs account. Once you’ve logged in, click on the [Wallet] icon.
2. Click on [Add Funds].
3. Select [With Crypto] tab.
4. Select which Network you’d like to make your USDT deposit on.
5. On the Withdrawal page of your Trading Platform App or Wallet App, scan this QR code to reveal the Deposit Address.
6. You can also click on the [Copy] icon and paste this address in the appropriate fields in the Trading Platform App or Wallet App you’re depositing from.
7. Be extra careful with this step. If you deposit to the wrong address, you might lose your deposit.
8. Confirm the transaction. Once you’ve sent it, you can look at its status in a blockchain explorer by searching for the transaction ID.
9. You’ll be able to see your incoming deposit under your Transaction history under the [Wallet] icon.
How to deposit with Fiat (Credit Card) on Upstairs
You can deposit on Upstairs with USD using Credit Cards.
1. Log in to your Upstairs account. Once you’ve logged in, click on the [Wallet] icon.
2. Click on [Add Funds].
3. Select [With Credit Card] tab.
4. Key in the amount of USD you would like to deposit. Upstairs supports VISA/MasterCards.
5. Click on [Continue].
6. Enter your card information. Make sure to double-check the payment details before submitting your payment.
7. You’ll be able to see your incoming deposit under your Transaction history under the [Wallet] icon.
How to deposit with Wallet Connection on Upstairs
[MetaMask Wallet]
1. Log in to your Upstairs account. Once you’ve logged in, click on the [Wallet] icon.
2. Click on [Add Funds].
3. Select [With Wallet] tab.
4. Click on [MetaMask]
5. Connect to your MetaMask Wallet.
6. Key in the amount of USDT you would like to deposit.
7. Approve Upstairs Protocol to use your USDT.
8. Confirm MetaMask notification.
9. Click on [Continue]
10. You’ll be able to see your incoming deposit under your Transaction history under the [Wallet] icon.
[WalletConnect]
1. Log in to your Upstairs account. Once you’ve logged in, click on the [Wallet] icon.
2. Click on [Add Funds].
3. Select [With Wallet] tab.
4. Click on [WalletConnect]
5. Scan QR code with a WalletConnect-compatible wallet or choose your preferred wallet.
6. On the Withdrawal page of your Trading Platform App or Wallet App, follow their instructions to deposit.
7. Be extra careful with this step. If you deposit to the wrong address, you might lose your deposit.
8. Confirm the transaction. Once you’ve sent it, you can look at its status in a blockchain explorer by searching for the transaction ID.
9. You’ll be able to see your incoming deposit under your Transaction history under the [Wallet] icon.
